I was referring to how nobody can agree on to the extent either of them was justified.
Personally I can see where varian's coming from (but don't give him a pass) while Cassandra I have far less sympathy for (regarding her betrayal not as a character)
I agree with you on Varian: justified grievance, not justified actions. To be fair, though, he was a fourteen year old who'd just lost his father and suddenly had everyone he knew turn against him; NO ONE would make stable decisions in that situation.
As for Cassandra, yeah it was pretty OOC, but the show KINDA justifies it by having her be manipulated by a demon who used her insecurities against her. IDK, I agree with people that it's out of character for her, but I thought villainous Cassandra was fun to watch.
