    Is it just me or many hate Aemond bcs they can't tell what he's thinking most of the time?
    And ngl, Jace is a big hypocrite. Glad Helaena called him out on that without saying it outloud

    I read all the fic from the start, but maybe I need to re read it lol, but is Luke angry and guarded around Aemond bcs when he did all those things with Aemond and asked for forgiveness, the alpha didn't react at all?

      Yes, Aemond is not a predictable person, therefore they hate and fear him. Yes, Jace is a huge hypocrite and he deserved to be called out.
      Yes, Lucerys is angry and guarded because he didn't react hehe. He assumed Aemond hated him all these time, that he wanted revenge. So, he felt guilt and fear. And these feelings wouldn't go away just in a day, of course.

        I can't wait for Daemon and Aemond to get along. Like, I imagine them liking many of the same things. Even the gorey ones. They'll bond about sharing maiming techniques lol

        I love Jace, but he has no right to insult Aemond

        Does Luke understand that Aemond was just a bullied shy boy who wanted to be like the others, but got mocked instead? Yes, he screwed up by bonding with Vhagar in Laena's funeral, it was fucking insensitive. He insulted Rhaena and almost killed Jace with a rock, but hey someone was going to snap at some point. So Aemond not reacting to Luke's attempts is normal, he was guarding himself the best he could

        But I have the feeling that it doesn't matter what Aemond does, most of Luke's family will see it like some plot to hurt Luke

          I have the exact same impression about Daemon and Aemond. Because, they basically are the past and future versions of each other lol. Jace is absolutely wrong, and deep down he does know he is wrong, but he keeps trying to make Aemond stay away anyway. Jace is too protective of his omega brothers.
          As for understanding of Luke, do not worry, in a few chapters your questions will be answered.
          And yes, Aemond was a misunderstood and feared character, therefore Luke's family are way too alert towards him.
