I'm super surprised that people actually like relatively short chapter lengths because Ive been trying SO HARD to bypass 2k words (plus the fact that I prefer fics with high word counts in each chapter, like 2k-7k at least or I wouldnt be interested much) ALSO, IF WHAT YOU MEAN BY YOU NEED TO TAKE NOTES FROM ME IS THAT YOU SHOULD LESSEN THE AVERAGE WORD COUNT FOR YOUR FIC, I BEG OF THY TO NOT PROCEED....
I try to write the characters with a bit more complexity than in canon i think,, so im glad you like it!!
about that speculation..... that would be a pretty big spoiler..... (your question is getting answered around chapter 5-6 if i can recall the draft for the premise correctly)
