    Damn, what made Joss hate Holmes so much?
    Holmes has a much kinder side than most adaptations would have us believe. He really does like to help those in need whenever he can (and young Charlie is basically like a Baker Street Irregular). Some are all the better for his kindness, and others unfortunately feel that the world always owes them more and they are free to take it.

    And yikes, it seems like that relationship was not exactly consentual

    I love how Watson is able to sympathise with his captor and get his captor to simpathise with him. Perhaps he can even get Charlie to help them both escape JM...but at least Holmes is on the right track!
