Esp when I am seized by the writing demons and can't focus on literally anything else lmao) (But also I am positively delighted that Metal and Magic still haunts you that makes my evil writer brain so fucking happy lmao)
And not to spoil the Odyssey or anything but! There is transformation elements in there but uh. ngl not even half as creepy as the Evolved lmao (definitely tapping into my own brand of horror there plus the sheer terror I felt seeing Arcane s2e9 for the first time and those fuckin mannequins). But the being stuck and trapped themes are definitely a thing! I kinda accidentally realized that this might just be a running thing within my writing since it's something that terrifies me personally - so ya know what better way to explore it than inflicting it upon fictional characters lmao
I am so fucking excited to have you strapped in and on board - you also get the fun benefit of I'm close to the end now so you won't get the screaming cliffhangers and chapter waits asgjkl (next fic to come uhhh End of December since I have discovered my spouse likes this so it's gonna be a present for the forseeable future now lmfao)
