Cam and Aelin’s reunion has been clawing at the walls of my brain for months, and finally unleashing it onto the world felt so damn satisfying. Those two could topple kingdoms with nothing but a shared side-eye and a sword. Power-sibling energy unmatched!
AND AELIN AND DAIN?? THEY ARE JUST— UGH—PERFECT TOGETHER. I need them back together like—yesterday. Poor Dain, that man is out here getting collectively despised by half of Basgiath and yet Aelin still sees the good in him. She knows him. She chooses him. My heart is on the floor 🥺🔥
And if you thought Ashbound was wild, darling, Firebound is where I stop pretending to behave. The plot will be PLOTTING, the characters will be CHARACTERING, and the romance will be ROMANCING. I’m not saying it’s my favorite installment of the We Burn series so far… but it IS my favorite installment of the We Burn series so far. I cannot wait for the world to sink its teeth into it. 😌📚🔥
