Thank you for the encouragement and love <3 I am really trying to get back into writing for the sake of coping and processing after not being able to write for years and years because of some of those issues, so it's great to have positive feedback on it. (I've done other art, but completely dropped creative writing for around a decade)
I'm working on the next chapter as we speak, so I hope it'll be ready to post sometime tomorrow? I somewhat apologize for hitting you in the feels but not entirely since that was the goal. I won't say what I am planning because I don't want to spoil anything, but there will be even more feelings but more amusing shenanigans mixed in to lighten the mood after everyone is thoroughly depressed. Thank you, I used to write a lot before, so I am glad I haven't completely lost my touch. I'm actually skimming the new chapter for typos now before I post it since I finished it last night and my astigmatism sometimes makes it annoying to see the lines. It'll be posted quite soon. Also, I'm glad you liked the playlist! I just like to mention what I am up to for the sake of both my own entertainment and the understanding of the vibe I have going on personally while I am writing. Songs vary drastically. This chapter was actually Nico Play's cover of Tuyo on loop before I shuffled a mix of various songs I categorize mentally as desperate kind of pathetic yearning featuring Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley. Songs really do change drastically from chapter to chapter, though. I wouldn't go as far as to say my fics are songfics, but it's more like I sit here and plot to a song that fits the vibe until I get it worked out. So I'm glad you like the playlist, and if you'd like, I can include the song(s) of the chapter in my fics going forward for the sake of your amusement? There's plenty of songs to share, so it could really be a whole playlist at this point. Actually, that's not a bad idea if I get bored.
