    Hi! I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back to you, it's just the explanation to your comment is really long and I got lazy...

    Anyway, so the reason it's tagged Reader Insert, is because originally I was writing it in second person the way you do with Reader-Insert fanfiction. I don't know how far you actually got, but that changed partway through because I was confusing myself.
    At that point I did ask myself if I should change it to OC, but I asked several people and they told me to just leave it as it was because they liked it that way. My beta also pointed out that no Reader-Insert was ever going to be a true "Reader-Insert" because it's pretty much impossible to find personality characteristics, likes and dislikes, behaviors etc. that everyone shares, which I thought was a fair point.
    The reason I added what the Reader looked like is a bit more complicated to explain so please bear with me. After talking it over with my Beta we realized a lot of a person's personality and the way the act and are treated by those around them comes from how they look. For instance one thing they all comment on with the Reader in Tales is how wild and essentially "wolf-like" her eyes are and they tend to treat her differently than if for example her eyes were more "doe-like"
    Another example I gave to the other person who commented about the Reader-Insert thing was skin tone. If you're pale and burn easily you tend to act a bit differently than if you're darker and don't burn at all.
