Hello🤗!!! Great chapter. I begin by feeling bad for Jay; it's logical that he's nervous, he has a lot on his plate and a lot of pressure to do it well. I'm glad he has someone inside who's trying to help him. Then it makes me so happy and maybe feel a little proud that Jay takes the time to make this kid happy (I always love it when a player or someone famous in another field does something like this, because it's the best day of this kid's life and it costs the celebrity nothing). And I ended up emotional with Pat watching it and remembering little Jay🥹💖. I'm starting to worry about Bridget's condition, although I know the treatment is tough, and on top of that she has to change her plans for the debut of her little one😢.
These lines: 1."What if he messes this up? What if he lets everyone down?"🥺2."She’d called Jay earlier today – wishing him luck and promising she’ll be watching."😊 3."There’s even a sign up there with his name on it. Held by a kid who can’t be more than six years old."🥹 4."With that in mind, ... he glides over to the glass across from the kid. It takes a few tries to get it over the glass but the look on the kid’s face as he holds it is worth it. He holds one hand up to the glass, getting a fist bump" Aww🥹🥰. 5." “I just… I remember standing at the glass with him when he was that age like it was yesterday. And now he’s… ” He trails off, at a loss for words to explain what he’s feeling but she gets it."😊💖. 6."Now he’s that hero for other kids. And his dad is proud of him."🥰
Looking forward to the next one, thank you for writing and sharing🫶😘.
Poor Jay! But at least he’s not doing this alone. He has mentors and he has his family.
And what a sweet scene with him and that kiddo.
And then his dad!
Thank you for reading! 💕📕
