We always intended for Lucifer and Satan to hook up right from the start!! But usually we have a couple story beats or scenes we plan to get and then the rest kind of just happens as we write.
Sort of both. Tem and I had to restart our big series (Universal Games) because we wanted to included Adamsapple midway through so needed to add some foreshadowing. And yeah, sometimes the characters just tend towards one direction or another so things do surprise us!!
