  I don't think it's rude to be upset when you get comments asking for follow ups (for the commenter to read!) while not getting (any author + commenter, not just us here) any kind of feedback or kudos. do you see what i'm trying to say? feels imbalanced.
  
  yes i did find it demoralising that i worked so hard on this and you could only say that it needs more. maybe i am just being sensitive! you are under no pressure to have me on your favourite fics or author list or anything of the kind, that's fine with me.
