Yeah 100% in reality the consent would've clearly made this go away, I was trying to kinda go close to the original story in the show but also changed it a bit to fit my fic. Even if politics was involved, which there usually always is some degree, would defs not cover something like that.
Oh, absolutely agreed. I think my frustration is honestly more with how the show handled this kind of situation than with your take on it. I actually really like how you adjusted things to fit your storyline, while staying close to canon and I’m enjoying seeing it unfold through your eyes! You’re doing a fantastic job with the characters and the dynamics and I’m very much here to see where you take it next.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I try to be close to realistic while also knowing absolutely nothing about medicine or hospitals or anything and also having a story in my head I just need to get out. But I also agree with you, like I re-watched that episode the other day and just could not wrap my head around how a surgeon would do something like Addison did in the show, just would not happen. I also wanted to kick Alex's ass so bad haha
