Hmm, a guys night convo. Can't say I've ever been privy to one for reference, but guys are just people. Given the people in question, it would just roll just like a hang out with friends who happen to all be men. Have some drinks and food (of maybe ?questionable? quality.) some banter and maybe some arm wrestling. I can see Enjin teaming up with Regto to try (failed) to win. They might teach the old nerd some new games? ( Does pool exist in the Spears?)I can also see Regto fleecing them if any gambling comes up, lol. Could also make it a moment for everyone to start catching feelings.
For conversion, Enjin might ask about what the woman are like up in the Sphears, bisexual manwhore that he is. It might be curious to explore how Rudos treatment by the other tribes folk affected Regtos relationships with them. Did he have meny friends before, or did others only want anything to do with him if he left Rudo? (Which we know he would never do.)
The Groundlings would be very surprised of how different life on the Spheare is,( as opposed to their previous beliefs of it being a paradise.) Rudos ability to find and fix just about anything is invaluable on the ground, but it's something he is scorned for in the Spheare. Also, one could argue that Regto and Rudo are healthier on the ground with access to medicine and more food. Rudo is also under a lot less stress then when he was on the Spheare. Rudos communication problems could also come up with Regto explaining them.
Bro could come in and they could compare dad notes and get into a friendly competition of "My-Cranky-boi-is-best-boi."🤣

All in good natured fun, of course.they could also show off drawing they absolutely, 100% did not steal from the small angry boys to try and keep for sentimental reasons. Nope, so big softie here.

Edit:aaaannnd I just noticed you want to hide the fact they come from the Sphears. Exnay anything about sphearlife then. And curse dislexia. Also, them all talking would give Groundlings more evidence that Regtos lying about something.

Currently for tension / buildup i have regto hiding the fact they are from the sphere and are sphereites from everyone as well as refusing to let them see his jinki in action so other than those 2 things the cleaners do trust him and ofc they know everyone has secrets but he feels "off" to them. Keeping that info is important for regto to feel like rudo is safe which is why they stay living in cave, esp since rudo is a firecracker or just may accidentally slip some info. He is like 10-13 atm.
My vague idea of an "outline" is Rudo and Regto's life on the ground alone -> meet enjin -> more of day to day life -> enjin finds their hideout and they get to bonding -> regto and rudo seriously debate joining the cleaners -> meet with enjin again to see what its like. Im currently on that last bit and i havent even started the scene yet (currently have rudo and regto talking about leaving to meet enjin) and thats *squints* 20k words from what i have posted. Yeah theres like 10k+ of them and enjin im so fr
The rest of the outline "idea" i have is they join the cleaners, move in, and... whatever happens happens. I dont really plan for things LMFAO. Just like "oh, rudo and zanka should fight" and then try to write a scene around it. Or like, for example, with your epic ideas, going "the cleaners Notice Rudos Hands ᵀᴹ"
I also,, code a lot. On ao3. This is the first work i havent coded for in an entire year+ so i feel like if i drop some random code it would freak people out 😂 example: black background with a rain gif if its raining. (Dont look at my author name being a different font its technically coding but i dont classify that as such)
....but if i do code.... just be prepared for a lot of nice fonts colors and energy for when rudo is Pissed The Fuck Off ᵀᴹ
Also also, if we are both yappers , i am fine w talking to you on discord if youd rather that than ao3 comments , if not thats completely fine!! Yapping on ao3 is something else. Ive often hit the comment limit several times sometimes just a fair warning if so xD!
Nice. Still trying to figure coding out. I can do either Discord (direraven7680, though I admit I haven't been on in a while.) or keep it on AO3. You may want to keep some things as a surprise for readers so discord may be a better choice on that. Brainstormed some ideas for Zanka vs Rudo if you're stuck on it.
I can yap all day and night about coding on ao3 !!! I can do either or, still sent you a friend request either way! Hmmm thats true.. i am a sucker for both getting opinions and shocking people.. 👀 id love to hear any ideas. Atm my current idea is have enjin show them around cleaner hq, rudo goes on his own little adventure, and ofc the first thing he does is run into zanka and they fight. Zanka thinking hes an intruder, rudo just trying to explore and being attacked by him and managing to hold his own xD!!
