Comment on Jason Todd Drabbles

  1. What kind of "defense system" is this that's linked to adrenaline? Is this actually a canon feature?

here it really is better for Jason to stay in the alternate universe

    1. So basically, Bruce, who has been influenced by Zurr-En-Arrh, drugged Jason and then changed his biological make-up so that when Jason has heightened adrenaline or is about to do something 'dangerous', fear will kick in (it's in Batman #138 by Chip Zdarsky, Jorge Jimenez, Tomeu Morey, and Clayton Cowles, which is apparently canon).

Still, the fact that adrenaline is an everyday hormone/neurotransmitter so things like stress, physical activity, emotional reactions, medications, etc can heighten it, basically ensuring that Jason would feel fear most days, if not all (cause there's no way he wouldn't be stressed with everything he's experiences and the physical activity he does since he's a vigilante). Plus, what is considered dangerous is subjective, so it's hard to say what things would trigger it and what wouldn't, or if something Jason doesn't consider 'dangerous' but still triggers the response.

      Here's a link that has a better/longer explanation of it: https://www.looper.com/1412908/batman-robin-jason-todd-decision-fans-immoral-abusive/

Haha, yupp canon Bruce is too abusive for me to justify him, even if he's 'trying' his best :( So next best option is a Bruce that never did any of that
