Comment on conversations with the bathroom sink

  1. FUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK I LOVE THIS

love the way you've done his internal dialogue here, he's so intimately familiar with every part of his body and yet it's so clinical. this is such an interesting and excellent read of his character- disconnected between body and mind, but also having such a tenuous grasp on who he even is at ALL that it's like. no matter how he rearranges himself, no matter how many caters he makes, it will never be RIGHT, it's never the pants it's always HIM
as far as his unique magic goes, i hadn't really considered how much TIME would have to actually go into figuring out how to duplicate yourself. like i think a lot of people like to assume that their UM just sort of instantly manifests, but for characters like cater in particular, it's really interesting to think about it taking so much conscious effort. instead of manifesting from like one specific moment or event, it manifests from this extended, agonizing sort of self-flagellation... cater my guy i really get it, but also my heart hurts so bad LOL

ouuughhh i love this so much, your writing is always a delicious treat and its SO evocative
    THANK YOU FOR WRITING IT
