    Frida is mostly absorbed in her studies for the time being, and Hilda is still learning the ropes. Once they both reach a more stable place and all of the powers are known, Frida would likely find Upgrade to be the most fascinating

      Upgrade is a perfect choice for Frida, a being of pure, malleable tech would be a witch's (and a scholar's) dream to analyze. It's fun to imagine her trying to document its fluid properties with rigid spellbook diagrams. The gradual reveal of powers as Hilda gains control feels very true to both characters' journeys.

      The fusion of these two worlds is so well-considered. How long have you been working on this AU?

        I posted the first chapter in mid-September, but it had been bouncing around in my head since June, as well as my Notes app in the form of summations and random ideas. Some of these connections are impromptu, but I have been developing the framework for some time now
