    this was sweet and devastating and soft, with insanely good characterization. i'm a sucker for post canon guilt coping and you really delivered. loved the silly moments too, yuji freaking out over text bc megumi wore his hoodie had me giggling and kicking my feet. and yuta!! i feel like he gets forgotten a lot, so seeing my gentle little guy also made me happy lmao

    i fear this may be a "bookmark and come back to in a month" type of bookmark 😔

      I'm always glad to hear I did the characters justice! Yuji's guilt is sooo important to me, and so is Yuta! I think he makes a very interesting addition to Itafushi plots because he has such a nuanced understanding of love and love as a curse (he'd probably see parallels between itfs and satosugu)!! He's also just a really cool character lol
      Humor and bickering is very fun for me to write so I can't help but include it in dialogues/thoughts.
      And the fact that you want to reread it is SUCH a big compliment, thank you again :,D <333
