    OUT OF EVERYONE, YUZURI WOULD CLEARLY HAVE TO HAVE THE DAEMON THAT COULD WEAR CUTE CLOTHES. And I struggled to figure out what Suzu's daemon would be, and then I saw a picture of a potoo and I was like, oh god, that. That is the terrible thing Suzu has.

    I very much wanted Lyrias to be like how it is in the manga - everyone is ULTRA CURIOUS, but rarities aren't treated as EXOTIC but just...curious. Something to look into later, if it might be interesting. So her novelty fades with time because - who cares about her hair? The daemon is the only thing that's sort of interesting, but no one can imagine experimenting on a DAEMON, so like...she's just another weird person in a university full of weirdos.

    I think as clueless and Suzu CAN be, he can see how she's so TENSE, like - it should go without saying he won't break the taboo, but clearly this has not been her experience. He can be an asshole, but...he's also a good dude. He sees she needs that verbal confirmation that he won't violate her trust.

    It's a think that like...you can FEEL when people touch your daemon (because your daemon is the physical manifestation of your soul), so if you maatch up the time line, Od Ana is telling Shirayuki to touch her riiiiiiiiight as Obi is telling Izana he won't lift a finger unless - O.O. Izana: Is something wrong? Obi: *squeaks* NO

    I WISH I COULD COMMENT ON THE LEG SCARS AND BACKSTORY BUT UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT LEST I GIVE AWAY SPOILERS FOR SOME THINGS IN EVER AFTER. PERHAPS...LATER.

    I feel like Obi totally would be the sort of person who falls asleep during "play dead". Like I can see this happening with small children too. Shhhh, babies, we are playing...the silent game....zzzzzzzzz

    Oh man, Obi is mostly so sorry because he FELT that. He knows what happened. If Od Ana hadn't been settled, she would have been. They both know Something happened, but...it's very INCONVENIENT. FOR EVERYONE.
