    This is one of my favourite Barisi style fics. Quite possibly my favourite. Barba's introspection is just perfect. I'm quite happy for the story to end here, but I'll certainly read another chapter, especially if Barba continues that glorious self-examination and he remains increasingly uncharitable towards Detective Ford. Great OMC, I love to hate him already.

      I hadn't originally planned a follow-up, as I, too, think it can end here, but an idea came for a short continuation. Me being me, though, that morphed into a long and plotty continuation. But there will definitely be a lot of Barba introspection and Ford is definitely going to give Barba a hard time, so... ::g::
