What an incredibly well-written story. I really liked your deep dive into John's character even though the relapse part almost killed me. Also, yours in one of the few stories that delves into the Holmes' family life in what I think is a realistic, non sugar-coated, way. I agree that mum and dad Holmes are not as harmless as they seem.
