I want to point out that condoms have been around for centuries with evidence of people using animal intestines as condoms in the 15th century. (Hydra are fucking idiots!) This is a great story, don't get me wrong. It's just that sentence was something that stood out to the historian to me, especially when latex condoms became standard issue for the U.S. military in the 1930s with promotion ads and health wellness posters everywhere for the enlisted/officers to keep STD rates down. I think there was a phase in a poster or something, but it basically said 'Don't forget to put it on, before sticking it in' or something like that.
Yeah, this was written a few years before I started to do more research for my fan fiction. And I've not had the time to go back correct/edit my older pieces.
