Well thank you for settling that little internal debate, dreamsofspike. Repossession + the extended universe for it is honestly my favorite fanfic for this genre since well, it goes really far into showing how much abuse people can take and still come out loving. I was trying to explain that to someone (ok, maybe my therapist) and I was guessing that you had some trauma in your past. You never hope that, but some part of me reading it just kind of assumed based on how all the notes of horror hit just right to real life. Like always, I'm sad to hear that anyone goes through anything remotely like this but I am very happy to hear you've managed to find some peace. And yeah, happy to say that chapter of my life is very much over.
Chapter 2 was great and ugh, poor Crowley. Poor Aziraphale. But lucky us, that people are writing literal novels for free on the internet for us to enjoy out of sheer love for GO. I think you are at something like 250k words for Reposession and this new piece, which is solidly 2 big ol' books.
Yeah, at this point I can't imagine NOT writing more fic for GO - probably all hurt/comfort of some form ;)
Writing this kind of thing is therapeutic for me and helps me to work out a lot of emotions that might otherwise remain unexpressed and undealt with. I'm just glad it can be just as meaningful to others, too. *hugs*
