  1. I appreciate that. Initially, I wasn't planning on showing the direct aftermath, as the scene was a last-minute addition, intended to simply show that Harry is discovered not to be a Squib early on, and not later after a normal childhood to prevent any confusion. I didn't want anyone to be surprised by the next chapter.

    However, now that you've brought it up, I do think it's a great segway and a nice vehicle to show the disconnect. So, I'm going to add either a short chapter between 1-2 to show the incident occurring in real-time, instead of alluding to it to later in Harry's life.
