    I love the way you worked in the script format. The fact that haku!hijikata can sense the fourth wall breakage is interesting. Looking forward to the next chapter!

    Also this might be a stretch, but have you watched Peacemaker Kurogane?

      I'm tempted to screenplay-ify it again (too many damn characters in one place!) but doubt it would ever be funny again. I'm glad to see you've returned ;] thank you.

        Of course I've returned, how could I not follow this glorious fic?

        I don't know about the PmK manga, but the anime gives a different (and kinda cute) take on the Shinsengumi compared to Hakuouki and Gintama. Especially when it comes to Hijikata/Okita's relationship. Just thought it might be interesting if you wanted to do a sequel cross over but that's getting way ahead XD

          Their relationship seems to be the biggest variable in Shinsengumi fiction, huh? Or rather, it probably stems from the Okita character. Most stories "agree" on Kondō's disposition, and Saitō's, and Hijikata's to some degree. But Okita is different every time, and I'm going to stop before tangents happen for real. I . . . have an unhealthy interest in these things.
