Yeah, Zack will have to learn to adjust to his new role quickly. It'll simply make his life easier. Having only Sephiroth as his companion will facilitate their bonding, particularly on Zack's end since he will have no choice but to cooperate and get to know his new "master". And the less friction the insane asshole experiences, the smoother things will go for his pet.
