thank you! I really struggled with this chapter because I hate making bad things happen to Ben, but I figured it was the first big part where this fic would realistically diverge from canon. There's not really a way to talk about Ice Town without outing him, and the Ice Town stuff is a big part of his character arc, y'know? it feels like a necessary evil, and hopefully there will be less angst to come
