    ABSOLUTELY. I kept praying it was a dream and a part of me (a big part if I'm being honest) is hoping TLOUIII will have us at the start of II again – but instead of Jesse, it's Joel *actually* waking Ellie up from a vicious whiskey-and-regret induced nightmare. I also can't help but muse on this given that throughout the first game there are a few times where we see repeat posters (in the college dorms for one) of a 'Fever Dream' and other "it was all a dream" tells that I could see them using as a fallback, should the franchise ever retcon the story disaster that was Part II, lol
