    How do I start?..

    This is actually the first time I leave a comment. Your work really impressed me!

    The pacing, the style of writing, the way you pictured these moments..absolutely fantastic! I think you will do a marvelous job with this fanfic, but my problem is that I don't see Joel and Ellie's relationship more than a father-daughter thing, so most probably I'll stop at this first chapter..

    I hope maybe one day you'll make such art describing their beautiful father-daughter moments.

    Until then, keep up the good work. The writing is fantastic!

      First, THANK YOU so much! Your kind words on my writing and the work itself truly warmed my heart and definitely helps to motivate me more than I could ever share here!

      Second, thank you for commenting despite the fact that the Joel/Ellie ship isn't your cup of tea! I know that romance for them is not for everyone and I always try to tag and represent any/all of my work that does include it in a very outright manner. For me, I can read and go both ways with them. The games (more Part I because II was just a travesty for them) do such a beautiful job at showing what they each needed in each other that I CAN leave it at the familial level but I choose to take it farther. And I do that because of their intensely dynamic relationship; to me, it's just so deep and brings us a level of soulmates that doesn't come around too often – so I shift it into the physical because of my own background and such. And in NO way am I preaching here, just trying to extend a glimpse into how I separate AND make it work in both realms for these two beautiful people. :)

      But again, THANK YOU for just taking a chance and being kind and warm and keeping an open mind on this. And for knowing YOU and being candid with your intentions. That's not often found in this fandom when it comes to J/E shippers so I am very grateful to you for that!
