    Trust me, you and your story are worthy of my time. You're also worthy of a review that reflects the hard work, love and devotion you put into your story. You've created something truly unique and beautiful, and it moved me deeply, hence the review. I know words can't always adequately express how we feel about something or someone, but I hope my review has given you a taste of just how much I love the first chapter of your story. Seeing your reaction to my words makes my heart swell and brings a smile to my face.

    I wholeheartedly agree with you about Ellie and Joel. Many people have put them into a box labeled 'Father & Daughter' and simply can't see them any other way. Heck, they can't conceive of their relationship being more dynamic and expansive than mere family. Unlike a lot of people, I never put limitations on Ellie and Joel's relationship. To me, their love is boundless, defying labels. I've played many video games in my life, but TLoU is the first game that I fell in love with simply because of the characters, specifically Ellie and Joel and their relationship. The love they have is pure and beautiful, regardless of whether they happen to be father & daughter or best friends or lovers or all of the above.

    I'm pleased to hear that you won't let fear of ridicule and spiteful words of those who disagree with your view of Ellie and Joel prevent you from writing and posting your stories. You have a gift, something special and precious, and the world is a better place when and because you share that gift. For as happy and excited as you are to receive praise and encouragement, there are people such as myself and many others who are equally as excited and happy to receive your stories. Just be true to yourself. Don't be afraid to show your heart to the world. Some will love you, and some will hate you, but love is ALWAYS more powerful than hate.

      I'm sorry for my slow/late reply! Been working on chapter 1 and didn't want to just throw a simple 'thank you' in there – your replies and time and energy deserve the same in return!

      But yes – THANK you. I'm so grateful already and excited to be on this journey and have you along for the ride. It's nerve-wrecking when I look at the scope and the miles I've got ahead of me but knowing I have such beautiful readers makes it all worthwhile. Truly.
