Comment on It All Started With An Envelope

  1. Haha, great minds and all that. But honestly I don’t think I have been on a single video call, either work or personal where an animal hasn’t ended up on screen, quite a lot of the time it’s my cat who does not like being ignored, he is a small, pointy eared demon
I am sure you could get some Sci-fi in there if you try, everything is better with a bit of sci-fi... I missed not going to the sci-fi conventions this year, the one we were going to had David Tennant as the main guest and I was hoping to add to my tally of doctors I’ve met, sad times
That’s good to hear, glad some countries are starting to come out of the other side, it’s an utter mess on this side of the planet, people have just got fed up of everything and have just started acting like everything is normal despite a massive surge in infection rates and deaths, so not good

    1. David Tennant is my favourite Doctor! I adore him, he's an incredible actor. I've only met 3 Doctors. Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Matt Smith.

I haven't been to a convention since I had my twins. I miss going to them and I can't wait until they are old enough for me to drag them along without them being bored in 10 minutes! Though they are more into Superhero's than Scifi at the moment. They are still a little young for anything more than cartoons.

      1. Me too, he’s jus so sweet. I’m really into Good omens fanfic at the moment as David and Michael sheen, how can you go wrong!
I’ve meet Sylvester and Matt and a bunch of the guys from Torchwood, sadly not John B though, he’s on my list.... that’s one of my fave bits about the conventions, getting to meet cool people. Sykvester was amazing, what a story teller and Chris Barrie (do you have Red Dwarf in Australia?) is absolutely amazing at accents.

Oh yes, it will be so much fun when they are older. Most of my nieces and nephews are either too young or not interested in sci-fi, but my 10 year old nephew loves it and as I’m a huge fan I get cool auntie status as I can name all the characters from Guardians of the galaxy and The Avengers. I bet you can’t wait to introduce them to all your favourite shows

        1. I have just started watching Good Omens, and so far i'm loving it. I love both David and Michael Sheen, so its a total fix for me! Have you seen Michael in Prodigal Son, he's brilliant in that!

And we defnitely have Red Dwarf here and I adore it.

I've already gotten my children into Justice League (I'm a DC Nerd), Avengers, Spiderman, Xmen and Scooby Doo. Next on the list is Star Wars and Star Trek.

          1. It’s awesome isn’t it, I love seeing them on screen together, they re such good friends and absolutely loved having so many scenes together, I think they always want to act together now. Have you seen Staged? The short videos they did during lockdown as the play that they were supposed to be in was postponed? It’s very funny.

I am watching that at the moment, it only started over here about 8 weeks ago so not that far in to it but loving it so far, Michael is far to charming to be a serial killer

Red dwarf is awesome, I can’t believ how long it’s been going for and it’s still just as funny today as it was 15 years ago

I love all of those, I too love DC, do you watch The Flash, Legands, Arrow, supergirl etc? I spent all weekend re-watching all te crossovers. If they could get the films as good as the shows they would be unstoppable, however marvel films kick their ass, apart from Wonder women which was excellent.
