    For some reason, my brain can only handle one whumpee per show (Lance is mine for Voltron), which I hate, because there are so many characters that I would love to read whump of (Keith is one of those) that I can't quite get the same feeling from. I am excited for this story regardless, because I haven't seen any fics of what happened with Matt and Matt is a fantastic character who I would love more from. And it's off to a good start!
    I don't know if it's been so long since I've seen Voltron that I forgot, or if you added it yourself, but I love that the scene with Shiro pushing Matt away is not the first time they've been to the arena. Mat has already fought in it, so now he's going to have some e emotional trauma on top of pain. I'm excited to see where this goes! (And maybe my brain will accept Matt as a whumpee)

      Yeah for some reason I always thought the fight against myzax was the first fight they'd done, but this makes more sense. And has the added bonus of giving Matt some things to worry and feel guilty about *evil grin *
