This is fantastic! I know very little about Stargate besides the main elements (big gate, travels between worlds, etc.), but this chapter immediately got me into the way these two groups mesh with each other, which I really enjoyed. Love that you are setting this on canon Etheria, too! Just an excellent opening chapter, can't wait for more.
I'm happy to hear this. The next chapter should be up Saturday, as the two groups feel each other out. Most SG-1 knowledge should be filled in in the story - and the divergence is early season 2, so there's not too much to catch up.
