    Big issue with Ruby being the one that gets kidnapped is that Salem would probably be more in favour of gouging her eyes out.

        Yeah fair, but wouldn't it hurt Ozma more if he lost his only silver eyed warriors? Unless he somehow finds one in Vacuo or Vale, or that Oscar was fucking the blind Ruby and make her give birth to as many silver eyed babies as possible, Salem could potentially take out his ace in the hole for a decade or two, maybe even forever if he can't find a suitable replacement.
