So took place the wedding of Stephen and Yasmine.
Right after the wedding, the newlyweds were taken to their bedchamber.
The vast room was quiet as a grave, despite the figures in the doorway and the couple within.
"Now, let's begin." Stephen said gently.
The bride nodded.
He made love to her, gently and quietly. Yasmin drowned in pleasure.
The deed was done.
Leaning closer, Stephen bit into her neck. Her transition had begun.
Searing pain overtook her.
Her nails turned claw-like, and her teeth grew into fangs.
She was completely changed, her body thrumming with pain.
The Prince could only smile. He finally had his Princess and had nothing to complain about.
And indeed the realm rejoiced.
But Yasmin saw herself as a barren wife. Ever since she was wed, her periods stopped.
She blamed her transformation.
Storming into Stephen's chamber, she slammed the desk. "You made me barren, Stephen. How could you?"
Stephen gazed at her calmly.
She looked at him. "You need an heir, and I cannot give you the children you wish for."
"There is yet time."
She shook her head. "No, there is not."
"So you say."
"I cannot make children out of thin air."
"Fear not, lady wife, you shan't remain childless."

She stared at him, crossing her arms. "Truly?"
"Of course."
(I think this is getting messed up. Blame my phone, yesterday. Maybe we'll do it right this time, since I'm back on my pc.)
