    So an actually larger question is why Tosh's sensors did not pick up the Z 's approach. What Ifan & Owen did was wrong, but shouldn't've endangered the community.

    So this means that everybody's walking around thinking there's a functioning early warning system running when there really wasn't.

    And what would the response have been had they asked? Something like, "Sensors show nothing so no problem if you'll have it up on a few minutes."
