I feel terrible for the long time it has been since this was posted and I now reading this... But yes, this was all I was hoping for! It is funny how good it feels to see all the familiar names from the books in this AU scenario, and so fittingly too! Jaime and Brienne together as well, what an open vista for all kinds of interesting scenarios...
Sandor having 'turned coat' already in this is interesting; so he has his background as an enemy, and some tension is surely carried from there - but he is now also (at least somewhat) trusted by Sansa's side as well... And his manners are very canon-like!

Don't feel terrible. These are chaotic times and I'm clearly on a chaotic posting schedule. I thought the conclusion of Christmas Eve would come in the next chapter but that's already splitting into two so I can maintain a relatively consistent chapter size. The good news with that is that the third chapter is pretty much done and just needs polishing.
Yes, Sandor has already left the Lannisters (and the Royalists in this AU), but there are still some canon compliant events between him and Sansa that are yet to come. I'm planning for each chapter to include a development in their relationship during his stay at Winterfell Manor, with the exception of the first chapter which did more worldbuilding for this fic than developing their relationship.
