I loke fem Jon's name it's jcie to see a different one than the typical ones. And I say the tag with possessive behaviour and honesty I love dark possessive Targaryen family vibes. Elia seems at peace witb her to that's one less problem.
I'm not sure about Ned's reasons whether it was fear or revenge. Though considering you other GOT fic it could have been a misunderstanding. If Elia is as okay with it as she seems there may have been an arrangement with Lyanna. And Ned / the North can be conservative so maybe he didn't understand that Marna would be accepted or maybe Lyanna was sort of a surrogate.
And I look forward so see Marna come to terms with her future relationship with her siblings.
I actually did a bit of research into the name, I wanted it to be of Northern origin and close to the Starks, hence the eventual choice of Marna on account of its relation to Eddard. The Possessive tag will be pretty prevalent as we progress too.
Ned's reasons will be expanded throughout the fic, and Elia's personality and thoughts will have a similar fate.
