{It's nice to see more of Rhaenyra and Alicent doing politics, especially together.} I personally believe that if they’d worded together in canon, they totally could have ruled the world. 😁 The real reason they had to be split up was because they were too powerful as a unit.
{The fact that despite having differing opinions they still actively listen and support one another at court is just lovely to me.} I may know nothing about relationships, but my understanding is that good listening is a key aspect to making things work, even when you disagree.
{And the contract between your version of the milk thing and the show's version was excellent.} Thank you so much! That was actually one of the first scenes I wrote for this story. I just love Rhaenyra and Alicent protecting one another and having each other’s backs. Plus, I can definitely see canon Alicent having done the same thing if she and Rhaenyra’s friendship had survived the time skip.

{Alicent is absolutely right in saying that the only reason they haven't been discovered is the ignorance of the people around them.} 1000%. Male ignorance of lesbians and Viserys’ willful blindness are what let them (Rhaenyra, in particular) get away with their nonsense (and by nonsense I mean their loving queer relationship that saved the Seven Kingdoms from a civil war).
