What a great canon divergent series. Poor harwin but atleast he’s alive I can imagine rhaenyra being in great discomfort when they king calls on Alicent coz it forces her to confront some hard realities.

It’s not quite as bad now since at this point Alicent has had all of her kids and Viserys is just a decaying corpse, so when he calls on her it’s just to have her play nursemaid, not to maritally rape her.
Those younger years though, before Daeron was born? Oof. Rhaenyra was in a tizzy whenever Viserys summoned Alicent to his bed (cause we all know he never went to hers 🙄), always torn between wanting to stake her claim to her wife and just being soft and gentle with her since she knows that Alicent suffers whenever she has to bed the king (non-spoiler: comfort sex always won out because it’s Rhaenyra, but possessive sex usually followed a few days later 😉). (I headcanon that Aemond was conceived in the Episode 4 scene of Lie Back and Think of Westeros, so Alicent only had to deal with one more conception after getting together with Rhaenyra).
