Wasn't expecting the first person pov, but this is really interesting! I'm eager to see what post-MM Link gets up to in the land of Fodlan. He's very in tune with environmental magicks! That's neat. I wonder if he'll learn any new spells (idk, since he learned from the Great Fairies in the games) or if his magic is just misaligned for Fodlan magic training to mean anything. Link is used to a great many different sentiant/sapient peoples sharing a land, so I'm curious if 1) he'll recognize something different about certain individuals, and 2) what his take on the eventual reveal of genocide(s) in the past will be. Horrified, I'm sure, but I'm curious to see what, if anything, he'll actually say. After all, being a different species won't stop him from making friends with Flayn and being from a foreign land won't stop him from making friends with Dedue. Pointy-eared little blond kid successfully evaded the Faerghus army and got to the prince's tent. lmao
I'm excited to see Link (with the Fierce Deity) and Byleth (with Sothis) eventually meet! Perhaps they'll recognize something off about each other and puzzle over it for a while? I can already hear Sothis saying "something feels strange about that boy."
