Comment on gehrman sparrow and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day

  1. >"It's best to leave fewer connections behind when I find a way back."

    "Back? Back where?"

    "Home," he finally ground out.<

Home, he said jiwnediweciubewwed (;′⌒`) He just wanted to go home o(TヘTo)

    >Dogshit! Danitz sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I know I'm just talking out of my ass, and it's none of my business where you're trying to go - but do you really plan on making yourself miserable until you get there?"

This time, Gehrman's reply was without hesitation, voice hollower than usual.

    "I can accept that."

Danitz's eyes widened. Taken off guard, he abruptly skidded to a stop, almost bumping into Gehrman's back. The crazy adventurer had frozen in his tracks and was staring at the darkening sky, where the crimson moon had begun to rise.<

"I can accept that." oh my god 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 he couldn't accept people dying during the black smog arc but he can accept suffering all alone if it means he can go back home

    >>>"If it means returning home," Gehrman said hoarsely, "then I'll endure any amount of this misery."<<<

    MY HEART IS DYING

    HE DOESN'T KNOW YET (┬┬﹏┬┬)

    1. dramatic irony goes brrrrrr :"DDD

klein's desire to go home is SO depressing in retrospect - it's insane how much that knowledge changes everything upon a reread. that plus his self-sacrificial tendencies is just TT-TT he's so unwilling to let anyone else suffer but that never quite extends to himself,,, and when he finds out all that suffering was for nothing and he can't even go home,,, the original lotm hurt me man

      tysm for your comment!! <333
