man i really enjoy your characterization of daniil. i REALLY enjoy that you let him mess up and let him lash out in anger here, and i feel the way you portrayed the loss of control and the regret he feels was really well done! masterfully counterbalanced with affectionate domestic fluff that made my heart ache. the domestication process isn’t all quick and painless.. this man has ISSUES and i love to see it thank you
Writing Daniil as a mess is always a treat haha but first of all, thank so much for the kind words! It means a lot to hear, especially on what tugs on the heart strings and opinions on how the characterization was handled. I love when characters, especially PoV characters, make mistakes and it's obvious to everyone but them until its too late. I find it entertaining to write and read and it makes me so joyful when others such as yourself find as much delight in their flaws as I do ;)
But one thing I love to do just as much as torturing Daniil (is it really Daniil Dankovsky without some angst?) is writing him in some domestic fluff; mainly my personal HC that Artemy holds unto him while he spins like a rotisserie chicken at night lol.
