Fuck you Viserys indeed. Viserys being terrible is very much going to be a recurring theme going forward. The whole premise of this story is that he did fuck all to prepare Rhaenyra as heir and Beesbury has to pick-up the slack. Thanks for commenting!
I thank you with all my heart for highlighting Viserys' misogyny and sexism in the show. I HATE him. I hate him as much as OTTO fookin Hightower. The way he is worshipped in the fandom, as though vulnerability is the same thing as wisdom
You're welcome! Paddy Considine's charisma contributed a lot to the fandom loving Viserys but he is objectively a terrible king, husband, and father to all five of his children. At least I can sort of respect Otto's hustle; Viserys is passive to the point of disaster. That's the way I'm portraying him here.
