    This is beautifully painful. I really thought he was raping her, but it's just torture. The fact that Felicity does this ask for Oliver, to protect him emotionally, makes her the strongest of all his women. Oliver is strong, but physically, not emotionally. He needs someone to protect him. That's why olicity is such a wonderful balance.

    And Slade? TERRIFYING. So scary. I wouldn't want him around me at all. The question is will Felicity tell Oliver? Or will he find out another way. By Slade when Oliver finally finds him? That would be devastating.

      Honestly, I've been super worried about negative comments appearing here. I'm much more sensitive to them than I thought and writing a fic like this is like opening myself up to criticism.
      THANK YOU FOR IMMEDIATELY SEEING THAT IT ISN'T RAPE!!! Everyone thinks that's all he's doing! I mean... NO!

        Same! Felicity's emotional/mental strength has always been a good contrast to Oliver's physical strength. I also wanted to get across to people that Felicity has made a horrible choice. It's a doozy of a choice but she didn't necessarily to the right thing. What she did do was the best thing for Oliver. And so, because of that, I want to showcase her mental resistance. I want to write why she's the strongest of all of them - and it sin't skill or martial arts or superhuman talents. It's her resolve.
        Out of all the villains I enjoyed Slade the most. I really wanted to make him scary in this; did I do a good job? **constantly worries**
        I'm super flattered that you've read/reviewed this too: I've read several of yous but I always seem to find them after they've finished so I never leave reviews- which I suck at. Really, thank you. Made my day.
        Felicity? Tell Oliver that she voluntarily made a choice with his worst nightmare to sacrifice herself to him every night?!! BWAHAHAHA... Oh you're being serious... oops.
        I'm pretty loose with spoilers but I will keep mum about how it happens. His reaction though, I will say, couldn't possibly be covered by a solitary chapter. Half of this fic will pertain to Oliver and his reaction.
