I'm not exactly sure what compelled me to click on this story, as I'm not a Pansy fan in the slightest, much less a fan of pairing her with my favorite character in HP. I was simply looking for stories featuring or taking place during the Yule Ball and I stumbled in here out of some odd sense of curiosity.
But color me pleasantly surprised, this definitely surpassed any expectations I might have had against such a work. It is clear that Pansy still has her mean streak and I like that you didn't sweep it under the rug, but if it's in a narrative as well-written as this, I'm willing to follow her development into a more tolerant, less aggressive and mean-spirited character. And anything that involves Ron discovering new sides of himself has to count as a plus in my book.
All in all, this was an excellent read and I'm excited to see what's to come. Lots of angst and drama, I can already tell, but I'm positive there will be some cheers as well ^^
