In canon, Jon's character was shaped by his surroundings. And in this story as well. He was raised lovingly, his aunt adored him and his cousins looked up to him. His uncle had a lifetime d*ck measuring contest with his father when it came to his wellbeing. He was kind of a boon to be fought over.
Everyone had their own goals, and so did every member of the royal house. I never had the intention to make the targs appear to be psycho though ahahaha.
