No reason you couldn't do both? Like Tanya is not really bothered by being inside the glass jar but fears Lucifer will punish her if she doesn't get back to work. Then once she gets out she shows she doesn't need the Key Of Hell to beat up the other demons. Basically that's because she has lived so many lives and gained so much knowledge and different abilities, that she can easily copy with her Devil Powers that demons that just keep being the same for so long can't compete.
In other words she has imagination and creativity while the triumvirate does not.
Well, I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't go into detail about what I have planned. But thank you for discussing some of your ideas with me. If I end up using any, I'll make sure to mention you in the story notes.
