Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying this fic. I hope you like the rest of it going forward! Rhaenyra desperately needed some kind of mentor to help her when she became heir and I thought it made sense for it to be the man who died standing up for her claim to the throne.
The Small Council finding out about Rhaenyra meeting Mysaria would be pretty funny. Otto would probably say it was proof that Daemon was trying to spread his depravity and argue for him to be banished. Corlys wouldn't really care but the Grand Maester would be mortified and Lyonel would balk a bit. But yeah, Viserys would probably side with Otto and send Daemon off.
There is potential mileage that Rhaenyra can gain by getting in with Mysaria over helping the smallfolk.
