Oh, yes. Mikey is not going to be left unchanged, that is for sure. And yet, if this was going to happen to any of them, it is almost best that it is him. He is so resilient and adaptable, at least in my headcanon.
I'm gratified that the way I see their dedication to one another is so apparent in the story. There's LOTS of things I love about TMNT--the silliness, the adventure, the angst--but their collective relationship is the foundation for me. 💗
And don't worry! I do promise a good ending, just with a bit of whump along the way.
