Thank you!!! I'll admit, the version of Jack we get in chapter 1 is slightly different than where he is as the story progresses. This is a version of Jack that has mostly blocked off his emotions as they have never particularly helped him. They have only ever held him back or hurt him, so he is greatly numbed. He slowly learns to process things as the fic goes on, and while there's anger, there's also a lot of grieving for what he went through.
Of course, he'll also learn the power of friendship, because why wouldn't I do that for him? Buddy boy is going to get ALL THE PACKMATES. He deserves it ;)
